Where did you work before you began at Santander?
I worked for BJ’s Corporate Office.
Tell us a little bit about what you do at Santander?
I am a Compensation Extraordinaire! I take requests from the business line to provide market pricings on new positions, update change in status forms for promotions, lateral moves, job code changes etc. I also assist the Consultants on the team with different projects that they are aligned to.
What do you love about your job? What do you look forward to everyday?
My team! I think we have such a strong bond and probably the best team working environment that I have ever been in.
How do you think your work matters in banking? What do you think your impact is?
I think what the Compensation does as a team is very pertinent to the business. We are one of the foundations of the company. We provide the best matched market information to be able to bring in the best talent from the market place. Without the market information, there would not be a structure for compensation and therefore could put the company in financial constraints.
